Description of Autolite 4194 4PK Copper Non Resistor Spark

Copper-glass seal bonds insulator, terminal post, and center electrode together to provide a tight seal that is 100 percent leak-proof. Cold-formed steel shell and precision rolled threads, with one-piece terminal post to add strength. Multi-rib insulator reduces danger of "flash-over". Resistor reduces radio frequency interference (RFI) and electrode erosion. Full copper core electrode provides better performance in all conditions. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

Disappointing Spark Plugs for Automotive Engines

Based on our own experience, these spark plugs did not perform well in our engine. We noticed a decrease in power and acceleration, and had trouble starting the car on occasion .the only positive is that they are affordable. However, considering the potential for engine damage we would NOT recommend these based on our experience..

Pros
  • Effective in transmitting electrical energy to spark plugs.
Cons
  • May cause interference with electronic equipment due to lack of resistor.

Eject the resistor plugs. Motorized bike engine loves it

Fits my motorized bike (7G Ghost Racer Kit with 4-stroke HS 142F engine). Unplug the resistor plug. Autolite spark plug test with no resistance. Only 2 so-called Non-Resistor NGK plugs from a whole box proved to be usable (if they have not been changed since 1996). Don't waste engine electrics going through a filter

Pros
  • Multi-rib insulator reduces risk of burnout
Cons
  • Appearance
