I got these for a project I made for my daughter and I wore them over a denim jacket. They are 4 prong and quite strong, the only issue I had was some of the prongs were bent when you tried to insert them into the denim material which is 2 ply. These are stallions, and good ones at that! However, be careful when wearing them on clothes. I put them on the collar of one of my shirts and in the first wash the rivets rusted and soiled the shirt. I don't really care; They look even uglier this way and it's my fault for washing them in the first place and not the studs themselves.

Not recommended for leather. The teeth are too short, will fall off, not suitable for wearing. It may be better to display items that are not subject to daily use. You can try attaching and possibly gluing them to a wood or fabric project. Luckily, my wife is also interested in crafts, so she grabs whatever I buy but can't use, and vice versa.
