1999 F350 V10 XLT OD Auto Shift, # 5C3Z=7210-AAA

Fits perfectly. The cable/clutch is on top of the shifter column just 3-4 inches from the shifter. You don't have to remove the lower sleeve or the speaker's tilt arm, just loosen the three screws, pull up the top of the clamshell, remove the pin, unplug the cable and you're done.

Worked in 2001 Ford Excursion v10

I bought this part to replace my stock shifter. The wiring in my stock lever failed causing the OD button to not work. This unit is a direct replacement and I have not had to modify it at all. It would be a good idea to swap the bushings in your shift rod and tighten the brass screws (not too tight). I also taped blue Loctite on me. Now it feels brand new!

perfect for my early 99 f250

so nice to have my OD light back on. Turns on well. If only it would fix my slop. I think it's the pipe. Will have to take it down again. If you want to eliminate slack and your shifter tube is tight, buy a tube as well. I can see where the inside of the tube is worn. For Ford, it's worth the money. Overtime must be renewed because the diesel engine lasts forever and forever and forever and ever.

You can't go wrong with genuine parts.

I have an XL F250 model which means the steering column cannot tilt or fold up. This made replacing that lever a 20 minute job instead of a 2 hour job as some have claimed. Be careful with the doorbell sensor and you shouldn't have any problems. The overdrive deactivation again works as it should, and looks better and is better positioned than Dorman and other aftermarket selectors, which tend to have a slacker angle, putting them closer to the dash.
