🔌 Premium Electric Burr Coffee Grinder: 12 Grind Settings, Large Capacity, Stainless Steel Review

I bought this for a french press so all I need is good quality ground coffee with no fine residue to contaminate the coffee. My old Cuisinart grinder left too much fine powder for my liking, and grinding the beans at the cafe also left residue. If this cheap grinder lasts me a long time and doesn't break, I think we have a budget winner.

The machine runs at a fairly low speed, which makes it fairly quiet. The degree of grinding is sufficient. After 4 uses, the grinder had a problem and wouldn't start without me "tampering" with it (unplugging, changing grind size, etc.). If you pull from the container after the grind is complete, a significant amount of the grounds will fall to the bottom of the machine and about a tablespoon of the grounds will remain in the machine, requiring you to unplug and "shake out", wasting the coffee.

This grinder is great, I don't have any major problems with it except that when you take the cup out the coffee grounds fall out of the grinder and collect where the cup goes. I love being able to choose how acidic or good I want my coffee to be before brewing. and you can choose how many cups you want to make. The auto shut off is great too. Purchased in April, it's now September and I've just noticed a huge crack in the bean hopper. I don't know how it happened! The lid always fitted perfectly and I never overfilled the container with beans. I also don't twist the lid to change the grind, I set it to coarse when I first set it up and leave it there. I use french fries which are oily and yes the oily beans I use generate a lot of static but I just add a few drops of water and that solves the problem. The coffee grinder is still…
