Ideal for shifter cables

Fits my 04 F150 Lariat seat. It was a little difficult to install. After a few calibrations everything was fine. The initial failure was due to a header leak that melted the cable. Installing You Tube saves time.

Pros
  • Part number: 4L3Z-7E395-BA, 4L3Z7E395BA
Cons
  • Quick Guide

The cable is poor quality, broken after 24 hours

Duration 24 hours. I recommend buying something else. I bought and installed. Left me in the Walmart parking lot. Went to Ford and bought a factory part and it's a night and day difference. I try to buy parts like this to save money but this one was a big disappointment to me.

Pros
  • Direct replacement for the old or broken one.
Cons

Get what you pay for

I thought the price was good so decided to give it a try when needed to replace a broken shift cable on a 2004 Ford F150 Super Crew. He says this one should fit. But it looked a little different, it was very difficult to install/tighten, and on one occasion it was very difficult to change gear from the shift column from the park position, which requires a lot of work. So now you will most likely have to take it out, throw it away, buy it and replace it with an OEM part.

Pros
  • Part Description: Cable Assembly - Gear Selector Control
Cons
  • Zero
