This molding was easy to install and much better. The way it attaches to the fairing and is covered keeps dirt and moisture out of the fairing area as it closes the fairing instead of the cheap plastic pads that attach to the fairing. It was very flexible and easily fitted around corners etc. A notice. Around my front door (24 inches) it had to be heated with a hair dryer for easy installation.

The plastic screw channel covers on my screen door were cracked and finding a replacement was a test of patience. The channels were 1/2" wide and the width seemed close enough (0.62"). It took a year to find a good replacement for the trim around our camper door that we lost (fell off somewhere during an 8 hour drive). This screw cap is far superior to the original product I had on my RV. The original was hard and brittle. Yes, it was old, but the design wasn't well thought out. This material is difficult to update if you have arthritis and do not have very good coordination. It's 1/16 wider than the gauge for a snug fit.
