This screw cap is far superior to the original product I had on my RV. The original was hard and brittle. Yes, it was old, but the design wasn't well thought out. This material is difficult to update if you have arthritis and do not have very good coordination. It's 1/16 wider than the gauge for a snug fit. This is good because it's flexible and bulges in the middle where the screw heads are. If it wasn't wider, the screws would push the skin out, the wind would pick it up, and it would end up on the freeway. But this tight fit made installation difficult for me. A spatula and indentation with the handle of a screwdriver helped. Take your time and you will make it. Excellent stuff. The only complaint is that you get too much. I bought 50 feet because I have 2 exterior doors. There's more than ten feet left that will probably be waist-deep. RV doors are usually a standard size. Selling the correct length eliminates waste. It wasn't cheap.
