Reliable AC Test Meter

The AUTOOL Refrigerant Checker Analyzer Compatible is an excellent tool for testing AC systems. After I put it to the test, I found it easy to use and accurate in its readings. The LCD display made it simple to read the results, and the compact design made it easy to store. The only downside is that it's not compatible with all refrigerants, so it's important to check before using. Overall, a great addition to any automotive repair tool kit.

Pros
  • Easy to use, accurate readings
Cons
  • Not compatible with all refrigerants

Lost in translation

This is a brand new Chinese company, the proctor arrived with no instructions. The article was taped to the box, hiding the information. I use this product and don't see any color change even though the whole cartridge was clearly covered with oil. I contacted technical support and was unfamiliar with much of the terminology used. For example snow oil.

Waste of money

This product proves absolutely nothing about the condition of the oil in your HVAC system. How much oil the filter captures is directly related to the pressure in the air conditioning system and the location of the low pressure control port on your vehicle. Depending on whether the air conditioning is running or not, the outside temperature and the design of your vehicle's air conditioning system, you will receive completely different readings. Some systems operate at low pressures as low as…
