Basically I needed this scan tool to be able to do a manual regeneration of DPF systems on our fleet of Ford trucks. This tool was very easy to use and worked just as well as the IDS dealer program. Highly recommended for your Ford!

The scanner is far superior to my stock scanner. It can give me more accurate data and help identify problems. It's good value for money compared to lower end scanners, plus I have a lot of Ford cars so it's particularly useful.

I spent almost $400 on another scan tool that was supposed to regenerate my 6.7 inch shocks under load but it didn't. Bought this guy for $100 and he does just that - forced regeneration! Either statically in the driveway or dynamically while driving. It reads all systems and diagnoses them.

It was fine until it was finished. I was able to connect to all my Ford vehicles and even Nissan. I wanted to update the service improvement tool. Unfortunately, after the update, the tool stopped responding to all my Ford vehicles. When trying to repair, the tool tried to update it again but was unsuccessful. I ended up returning for a full refund.

Ordered this obdII scanner for my diesel F350 6.0. It was a design for Ford, Lincoln cars and trucks. Unfortunately the scanner has a Cummins 3.9 diesel. This reader configured to work on Fords made it easy to find the dates I bought the reader for. I wanted to get a FICM voltage reading for my 2007 F350 6.0 Diesel. At idle it felt like it was running a little low, but within spec. I took it for a walk, still checking with my reader and saw that the voltage drop under acceleration went out of spec to 35v.
