This is the title on Coil Packs

Direct replacement, no problem, everything works as expected. I replaced one 5 years ago, 185,000 miles. The second one failed at 265,000 miles so I replaced the whole set. I saw reviews where some units failed shortly after installation so I kept the old working units as backups.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Good but not great

Ignition coils for parts

Well the part looked very similar to the OEM. The parts fit perfectly and my Trailblazer started with no problems. So far there have been no problems since installation. Would definitely recommend to other Pioneer owners. Considering a full set of coils (6) could cost you close to £300 it was a good deal, one of the reasons I love Revain and work for a car parts dealer and don't even get discounts.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Equipment sad

You get almost what you pay for

You almost get what you pay for. Installed and worked great for 11 1/2 months. Then one failed. I've found that these cheaper coil packs are good for about 1 year at best before one of them fails. sometimes earlier. just a question of $70 vs $300+. Anything equal to or better than OEM is a shard. Amazon gave me a shipping label and a refund. Sooooo, have a spare set ready and send them back.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Neutral

Problem fixed but quality control problem

One coil had a seal on the harness connector that no other coil had. I didn't notice and therefore the harness connector didn't fit. I finally got the spool out and was able to pull this gasket out of the spool and hook up the wire harness. The seller should keep an eye on such things. You see, the harness connector already has its own seal.

The coils are not worth the money. Don't buy them!

Ordered these coils for an '05 Chevy Trailblazer. The first set had a bad coil after 100 miles. Revain sent a replacement free of charge because I wanted it. The second set had a bad coil after about 200 miles, this time I wanted credit to order a better set, in my opinion this brand is junk and I didn't want a third set. I ended up finding the customer service from Revain to be very poor and these reels suck, save your time and money and buy a better set.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Not bad

Needed a little modification but they work great

Okay so I bought a set of spark plugs when my truck started misbehaving and it's been a while since the facility thought there is a problem and it isn't. The problem was 2 defective coils. I ordered them for next day delivery as I needed a truck urgently. They came, I installed them and found the truck was working harder than before. My son quickly learned that a little pressure on the top of one of the spools would improve the truck's idling. I decided to remove everyone's thick rubber boot…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Fast delivery, great product for the price

Installed about a week and a half ago and so far so good. Fuel economy increased significantly by about 2 mpg. The product is as good as acdelco if not better and at a much better price. I drive about 3000 a month and so far no complaints. UPDATE: After a little over a month and 15,000 miles they still work like new. The price is a lot better than Delco's AC brand, and the performance is equal if not better. UPDATE: There was a misfire in one of the coil packs. Emailed customer service and…

  • So far so good

Coils fail after 7 months

This rating is for a set of 6 Autosaver88 coils suitable for 4.2 liter inline 6s. I installed these coils towards the end of July 2019. In early February 2020 and after about 7,000 miles the first coil failed, started misfiring and finally failed about a week later. Now after 2 weeks the 2nd coil started to misfire. I've tracked this with my Torque Pro app and very rarely missed under load. Now a few days later it's a much more constant bug under load. At the same time, I also see that the 3rd…
