Connect the adapter to the on-board computer connector. 2. Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone/iPad. 3. Install diagnostic app - ELM327 Bluetooth app for iPhone from Apple Store, such as "Car Scanner". 4. Open the application on the iPhone and go to the settings. 5. In the "Connection" section, select its type: "Bluetooth 5.0", and then - Select device". 6. The device will search for the adapter. This usually takes up to 10 seconds. If necessary, click the Update button. The adapter has a name consisting of a set of letters and numbers or an inscription (OBDII). When necessary an inscription will appear on the screen, click on it. The software will check the device for compatibility. 7. Now on the main screen of the program, you must click "Connect". The connection is established and the program can be used. - Possible mistakes If the iPhone does not see the ELM327 Bluetooth or some other difficulty occurs, then one of the following problems is possible: the ignition is off; poor contact between the adapter and the connector: insert the device more tightly.
