Fantastic product in Accessories & Parts

The Autosock exceeded my expectations. I have to climb some steep hills to get out of my area and a steep road to get home. I always slide and skid when it snows, and I can never get past a driveway in my rear-wheel drive car. I had no problems with Autosock. When I get home I put them in the washing machine and they're ready for the next day. Fantastic product.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Works great - Tesla Model X

I bought this a few years ago and left it in the car unused until last weekend when a big storm blanketed the Sierras in snow and chains were a must - so I have got her out. Installation was incredibly easy - Tesla's suspension was raised, placed on top of each wheel, moved forward a few feet, and the installation completed around each wheel. The whole process only took a few minutes and was much easier than chains. They held up securely for the 30-40 miles I rode in the snow, mostly at 30 mph.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

They work just as well as wool gloves in a snowball fight.

In hindsight they work exactly how you think, which is not very good. Remember when you were a kid playing snowballs with wool gloves, after about 30 minutes your gloves froze and stopped working, well, same goes for them. So my advice is: use ski gloves for snowball fights, chains for driving in the snow. Facts: I used them once while driving 30 miles at about 25 mph in a big storm. - 2 of 4 socks fell off while driving, 2 that were still on fell off while parking, they are torn and unusable…

  • Lots of positive vibes

Low Speed Traction

I live on top of a bluff in northern Michigan. The last quarter mile of the road has two hairpin bends and a fairly steep incline. We find that even with excellent tires, our front-wheel drive vehicle cannot climb hills in snow, ice or sleet. I read the reviews and was curious that Colorado is passing a law allowing both AutoSock and Chains. On the way back from work one night after snow had piled up on a hard pack, I stopped at the beginning of our ride and put on my AutoSocks. I went through…
