AutoSpa 40409AS Foam Polishing Bonnet Review

Quality deteriorates over time. I've been buying them for years, the last batch was really bad. As other people have mentioned in the reviews, sewing the foam to the elastic comes loose. As a result, the foam no longer pulls properly over my polisher. I won't buy these again. Looking for an alternative. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Use this to repair/polish my headlights for my 2008 Honda Odyssey and the foam comes out of the rubber after 10 minutes of use. I bought several packs and they all did the same thing. Attaching it to the polishing machine is not easy either, as the rubber band is very tight. I can't return because I exited the return window. Invest in a better polishing machine and a better hood polish, I am very unhappy with my dealership.

I love these polishing pads. That's half the price Walmart charges for the same item. I not only use them on our cars, I rub and polish our marble countertops with them, marble takes a lot of maintenance and if I had to do it all over again I would buy granite. But it's too late. For example, the car wax protects the marble from losing its shine when it comes into contact with acidic liquids, and at the same time these pads make waxing and polishing easier.

I like the way they look. Much stronger and thicker than the crappy foam pad that came with my B&D DA polisher. I look forward to using this and other autospa hoods that I have ordered. They all look like quality items for the price. My B&D pad shattered into hundreds of pieces when I briefly lifted the car off the car's surface. When saturated, any wax in the foam quickly migrates to the edges and acts like a shot put, grinding the pad and throwing dirt everywhere. Maybe I should have ordered…
