Read other reviews about people breaking this tool. I think they were trying to get the spool out without spinning it first. This will break the tension seal on the spark plug and the coil will come loose easily.

I got this coil connector removal tool for my BMW 2018 R nineT Urban GS. At first I thought it didn't fit, but it was just really tight. Not bad enough to dock 1 star but if I could I would give it 4.5 stars. Without this tool, removing the coil connector would be much more difficult.

Changing the spark plugs was quick and easy with this tool. Getting on top of the boots without this tool would piss me off, trust me. It hung perfectly on the boots and was easy to remove. Without this tool, I'd be clawing, smacking, bluffing, repeatedly swearing, and nagging for the rest of the job. I highly recommend spending a small amount of money as it will save you the time and hassle mentioned above.

To be honest it actually broke my ignition coil tabs but the way it is broken it looks like it's just old plastic. The tool fits snugly and snugly on the spool, so I'm pretty sure it's not the tool. That being said I didn't use it on the second spool, I could pull out the first spool by hand so I did the same with the second. Anyway, I just wanted to at least leave a review so people know that this will fit the coils on the 2008 BMW F800ST (I'm pretty sure all other ST years are the same).
