Big weight for a trash can!

Complete nonsense. The buttons broke off, made a repetitive high pitched sound, literally went in the trash! Don't buy this.

Sounded Great When It Worked

This amp sounded great until it died a few days after installing it. It was connected to two 6.5 inch speakers. There is another small amp with a good working woofer from another brand. This is for a desktop stereo I have at my shop.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No Instructions

Makes strange noises.

Set this up in the Raspberry PI setup via the HDMI graphics card. Connected the speakers and turned them on. The audio worked fine but it kept making weird R2D2 noises. I tried another amp in exactly the same setting, no noise. I sent this back. DO NOT BUY.

Not bad for the price.

ARCADE1UP/RASP PI USE: Some buttons are loose, looks a little cheap - but for the price I can't complain. My real problem is feedback. There is a faint squeak that can only be heard when turning it on or off. If music is playing and the like, that's no problem. I replaced speaker wire, 3.5mm wire, etc. Still available. Well, he does what he has to do.

Pay for the best

The truest statement: you get what you pay for. It looked nice at first sight, but when you hold it in your hands you realize that it's cheap. Used it for the Arcade1Up machine for exactly 2 days. He went into the basement, smelled of fire, didn't know where to go. I put it on my machine, it worked but there was no sound. . Thought it was from a slot machine. I thought maybe the speaker had exploded so I ordered a new one. I still didn't plan on soldering new wires, but this time I saw smoke…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Nice economical amp that I use when building an arcade cabinet. I needed an amplifier to take the sound from my raspberry pie and route it to the built in wire speakers in the closet. The volume is just what I need for a slot machine, so I'm very happy with it. The only weird thing about it and I don't know if it's just my device, but the ring around the volume knob is flashing different colors and it's quite annoying and I don't know how to turn it off. But I don't care because it's in the…
