Excellent for adding extra storage to your Fire Cube Revain 4k. Easy to set up, and who doesn't love more space for movies and apps. This is a quarantine in the house, must be!

Memory expansion Revain Firestick 4K

I originally bought an AuviPal ethernet adapter to expand the storage capacity of my Revain Firestick 4K. After adding 32GB of storage, I was able to connect a Bluetooth mini-keyboard that allowed me to easily type web addresses into the devices' internet browsers when needed. I've tried similar ethernet adapters previously used on other devices and none of them worked as well as Auvipal.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Almost never

Pleased with the ability to increase the capacity of my Firestick 4k. I bought it and connected the device as suggested but without using an ethernet cable. After connecting power via the included OTG/USB cable, my Firestick 4k keeps rebooting (when it was unplugged for example). After returning to a normal connection, the problem disappeared. This means that the problem is caused by the device being switched on or the OTG cable. therefore did not live up to the promise of compatibility with my

Great for using a Firestick, not a regular PC.

Don't buy this for a regular computer, better buy it for a Fire Stick. On a typical computer, this allows power to be supplied from any attached peripheral to the USB port on the PC/MAC/. However, this is intended for Fire Stick and similar applications. We need this behavior because we're connecting it to powering the firestick and then connecting power to the firesick to that device. Now that device is sending power to the Firestick through that USB. If it weren't so, we wouldn't have a…

  • There's something to it
