love these for my dance team! Light and bright, they really add something special. They're a bit big for a dance, but they work and are a lot cheaper than large handkerchiefs, which tend to be too small to make an impact.

I bought this veil for costume reasons, not specifically for dancing. The veil shown in the picture is not the veil I received. The veil I received is not rectangular but has a rounded/round sequin edge. If I ordered this for a belly dance I would be furious. However, it matches my suit so I kept it.

I like that the veil is clean and it is a semicircle. It's a bit difficult even though I'm a 20-year-old dancer; knowing how the veil should flow almost effortlessly when worn. I used a veil with trimmings, they weren't that heavy. I like that it's a semicircle that makes it look like wings; when tucked into a skirt or pants, it adds elegance to the look. I would give five stars but due to the heaviness and flow it's only four.

I bought this veil to match the costume I am making. The description says it had a gold finish, although I couldn't verify this from the product image used. And it's gold, but it has an iridescent tint that I'm disappointed in. As you can see in the photos, this changes the gold, cheapens it and gives it a made in China/wish.com look and feel. I highly doubt it's chiffon. If you don't need to match and want to sparkle, this is a good price.

I covered the area with a white cotton pillowcase and a heavy duty iron. Try not to press on the gold trim. Also, do not use aerosol starch. I also bought a chiffon hip scarf with metal coins.
