I bought this veil to match the costume I am making. The description says it had a gold finish, although I couldn't verify this from the product image used. And it's gold, but it has an iridescent tint that I'm disappointed in. As you can see in the photos, this changes the gold, cheapens it and gives it a made in China/wish.com look and feel. I highly doubt it's chiffon. If you don't need to match and want to sparkle, this is a good price.
