On the thicker side

It looks more like thin cotton fabric to me. In my experience, flour sackcloth is similar to gauze in that it is thinly and loosely woven, so you can see gaps between the threads (but the gaps are much smaller than gauze). Not necessarily bad, just not quite what I was looking for

Homemade Paperless Towels in the Kitchen & Table Linens Category

I bought these to make 'paperless towels', ironed them, cut them into quarters, sewed the raw edges and voila. I have tons of paper towels that I don't care about (apart from lack of time), kitchen towels that I don't want to get dirty, microfiber that I don't want to use for vegetables. It will work as a napkin but I made them out of flannel.

Superb towels for thermal transfer designs

Bought for thermal transfer decoration. Based on feedback from other customers, I washed them first and dried them according to the package directions. They washed well, but then they deformed a bit - not quite square. However, I managed to stretch them while ironing so that they were almost square. The heat transfer worked very well. I was happy with the project overall.

Great value kitchen and tea towels

These flour bag towels weren't as thin as I thought so IS a PLUS. I read that they are not suitable for embroidery, but I machine embroidered them and am happy with the result. The product description says they are lint free, but I found lint on them that came off easily after shaking them. My main complaint was that most of them (after washing and drying - correct according to directions) some were not square and the edges were quite curled up. I ironed them and the rolls mostly crawled out…
