Looks solid and well made. There is a fan that is audible when running but not very loud. It's not ideal for running and shooting activities that require speed and easy setup, as the device needs to be plugged into an outlet to function. It also doesn't feel as fast as a portable SSD. However, it seems like the perfect drive for a permanent home base, and it's built really well and works flawlessly.

This device was bought to replace an old 2.0 case. The unit arrived quickly and was easy to set up. But my device had a defect where the power and disk activity LEDs were not working.
