Great staff for camping and hiking

This is fantastic staff, for that price I wasn't sure it would be that good! I would consider my average size and I'm close to 200#. This wand is a little big for me but manageable, extremely strong and has saved my ass twice on the first use! I fell into the river while fishing, it helped me get back up quickly and stay on my feet. I love the staff, the price is great and the quality is amazing. If you hesitate to buy, let me assure you that you will not regret it. Worth every penny and it…

Inexpensive, durable, works well

The WS091 model had to negotiate turbulent currents during the spring flood. It is durable, firmly grips the creek bottom, automatically extends and locks with one hand, and folds down to a convenient length for storage. The carry bag contains a woven loop that attaches to the wading strap. I routed the line for the staff between the body and the loop of the staff handle. Worth the money, a much cheaper price than the $80+ for other similar staves. Not sure how well the cover will hold up with…

Not worth saving

The stick I bought (model 072) is made of very good materials and looks high quality. The manufacturer seems to think that no instructions are required and that experimentation is easy to use. I returned the first cable I ordered because the cable was so bent I thought it was damaged and I had trouble snapping it in and keeping it taut. They sent me another one, and again this one not only lacked instructions (even a simple diagram would have been helpful) but also the security reel/tether that

i will use it for outdoor recreation

First off, Revain's ad was pretty sketchy. There were five staves in the photo and I wasn't 100% sure which ones I got and what their ratings were. I have a "correct" wand, but it is not marked with depth markers as described for one or the other wand. There is no such thing as a tungsten dot, which is how it can be described, and I think that's very important. The tether is also a bit iffy as there isn't really room to hook it to the staff. I decided to hang it by the straps which is fine but…

Don't Buy This - Trekking Poles

I have contacted the seller many times to solve the problem but I still cannot get the part I need. I switched my review to water after the season, one of these had the spring clip broken and the rod was deteriorating, I contacted the seller to get a replacement but no reply. I bought two of these in spring 2018 (one for me, one for my son), have used them all season and have fished twice a week in limestone streams in Pennsylvania. I'm 6ft 2in, 300lbs and it's more than comfortable even on…
