🔑 Avital 7143L Replacement Remote: 1-Way 4 Button for Efficient Control Review

Made of very cheap plastic. You won't notice until it's time to replace the battery. Then when you try to open it, you will see that it cannot be opened! Arrived much quicker than promised and yes it is a genuine Avital key fob identical to the two that came with my Avital Remote Entry/Alarm System (DEI). Surprisingly, a factory button/valet cable (which can be used for programming and other functions) was also included, which was a nice (if just a backup for me) perk. I took an unplanned boat trip and ruined my remote control. I have a MESA brand remote start model 7143M with FCC ID EZSDE1474S printed on the back. It was an easy 30 second change. It comes with simple instructions, but you will need access to the programming button. With the stereo, mine was tied to the parking brake handle, but it could have been anywhere under the dash. Simply press the program button, hold the button until you hear a beep and hold, then press the lock button on the remote.
