I get a message from my ps5 saying the hard drive is corrupt then it should fix it at least once a week but no data lost or crashed so far let's see what happens to it in the future

This drive seems to be very unstable. I use it as an external computer hard drive, but it always gives errors and prompts to scan and fix, but no problems were found when scanning. It hasn't corrupted any of my files yet, but it's very concerning.

I bought this to see if it is compatible with PS5 which it is. There is plenty of space to install PS4 games. The write speed to HDD could have been better and I had to reinstall the game when transferring from PS5 to HDD, but there is an option to set PS4 to HDD by default. Everything is fine when playing from the hard drive. I love this drive! Looks amazing when activated with extra lights 🙀 It comes preloaded with 7.35GB which is the highest I've seen for an 8TB drive. It transfers games fast, but even faster when transferring games from this drive to the internal hard drive 🙀 it's small to fit in different places. Has some weight.
