It is very well made. The fabric is nice and thick but soft. The stitching is fine and the accent color hood makes it stand out. Kiddo liked it. I would say it fits true to size, can be worn over a t-shirt. A little more and you'll want to appreciate it. I was expecting something boring and was really surprised how good it looked in person. Your photos are not true.

I ordered this sweatshirt for my 6 year old as we have cold months. The medium fits him perfectly and should last all season, but I might order a large. He is 63 pounds. I ordered this shirt for my son who is almost 6 years old and mostly wears size 7 clothes.
