This speaker has an amazing sound and isn't too heavy. I took the speaker to my husband but didn't give it to him when I first got it. After giving it to him, he kept a very good charge and only had to charge it twice in the last month. The third time my husband tried to charge the speaker it never got charged. We haven't had a chance to use it since and I'm very disappointed that this speaker wasn't very well made despite its obvious durability.

This speaker has survived a lot of damage such as falls, rain, dirt and so on. It continues to work. The charging plug sucked, but we all have UBC plugs instead, right? The sound is good, but not outstanding, definitely not as bass-heavy as you might imagine, but definitely acceptable. It's still better than anything I've heard in my size class. The battery life is okay with a maximum of 3.5 to 4 hours. In cold weather it is reduced to 2 hours. It is very light so it is very easy to carry…

Muddy and dull sound. Surprisingly, some songs sound good, but overall not even as good as the smaller Anker speaker. Just to be sure, I showed it to a few friends and they were immediately annoyed at the sound quality. There is only one speaker in this large box, on the side where the controls are located. The rest is an echo chamber that delivers decent bass. I bought it for the USB stick/SD card capability and it was pretty good. Too bad the sound quality was bad.

If you have an SD card you're lucky enough to get your music on it and they put the SD card in the speaker, the sound is pretty good so I kept it.
