Not what I expected

It didn't work like I hoped. I bought these to make my own taper candles for my advent candle holder. Now they stand up, but I wouldn't dare light them because they are not reliable at all.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Weight

Works great in home decor products

The following worked when I was trying to fit candles into the odd shaped open bottomed candle holders in my lovely old advent wreath. The candles stay in place when I move them, but the snuggers don't appear or stick.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Minor issues

Have been looking for her for years!

I finally found the right search terms to find these little foam circles that really help keep candles straight. Found the last batch in a craft store many years ago and thought they were no longer made. They are expensive for what you get but you can reuse them for a long time.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Incredible Piggy Bank

They work! best home decor items

I bought some fancy candles and even though I had a sticky, waxy substance on the bottom of the candle holders, they leaned to the side every time I looked at the candles Side . I bought these candlesticks, put them in their holders and now the candles line up perfectly. I recommend them!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not everything fits

They work for us but are ridiculously expensive for what you get.

It really works for us. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the market that works as well. (We use them for chimney candles during the non-wood season, which is pretty common here in the south.) But they really charge a lot for a couple of foam discs. We buy them because they work and our options are extremely limited.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Bad experience

Useful for the stated purpose

I have a pair of antique Louis Philippe gilt candelabra. Candlesticks are much larger than the bases of currently existing modern candles. Accordingly, something is needed to keep the candles upright. I use two of these foam pads for each candle and they do their job well. After a while, they dry out and need to be replaced. These are only small pieces of polystyrene, but since they are relatively cheap, they can always be reordered when the candles are weak again.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Great price
