Excellent quality of welding equipment and accessories

I have always used gas to protect welds and I had the opportunity to use this wire. I expected it to be the same as any other filler wire I've used in the past, not worth a damn. I started welding with it and adjusted accordingly and to my surprise it worked damn well without gas, what a money and time saver to bring extra gas to a welding shop. If you do artistic work I would choose gas wire, but for household and factory welding it will surprise you. Try it, I don't think you will regret it.

Pros
  • Low spatter, full slag coverage, easy slag removal, no porosity, good seam appearance
Cons
  • boring packaging

Inconsistent in welding wire

I am by no means a professional welder. I have used this wire in the past as well as two pound spools. This time I ordered a 2lb coil for my 110v Forny and a 10lb coil for my 240v Hobart Beta Mig which I got for free. I struggled and struggled to set up the Hobart - it welded well for a few minutes and then started breaking the wire (e.g. the feed rate was too high) or punching holes in the metal (e.g. the voltage was too high). Eventually I got pissed and switched back to my forny and went…

Pros
  • Shielding gas not required, All positions, single and multiple pass welding
Cons
  • Expensive

GOOD FLUX WIRE suitable for welding wire

Good flux wire for about half the price of well-known brands. So far so good, but if anything changes I'll update this review. UPDATE I've been using this wire for a while. I used a good 5lbs from this reel and love it. Several people who have complained about this appear to have set their machines for the wrong polarity, e.g. B. when changing from FLUX CORE to MIG and vice versa. If so, that explains their problems. Of course I can be wrong, but before you complain, you need to verify it. I…
