We really like this gate. After breaking down a few gates with our dogs we found this one and it fitted perfectly. This discourages their puppies from climbing stairs. It also has a beautiful wood finish. It closes by itself if someone forgets to close it, which is fine, but it can be a bit noisy when it closes by itself. This is the only downside. Otherwise we love these goals and I recommend them.

We use this to keep our dog out of our bedroom which is our cats home range. They get along well, but sometimes they just want to be left alone. Very easy to install, I did it myself in 15 minutes and I have arthritis in my hands. The gate opens easily for us, but remains firmly closed even if a dog jumps on it. It's higher than a regular baby gate, which works well because our terrier will jump over it. Highly recommended

I really like this trellis, we installed it at the bottom of the stairs so our little one wouldn't climb up unattended. Our staircase is old and has a very narrow opening. A small gate would fit perfectly without the extra parts you need to wall mount. When measuring, do not pay attention to the correct gate size, but allow for some leeway. As a result, our goal is a bit sideways :D, but it serves its purpose.

The gate itself is good. I ordered 2 of these gates with a 2 day sale over two weeks ago. I've only received one so far and now I've received an update that the second one is being delayed showing it's out of stock. I will be returning the ones I got because I can't go weeks without a gate at the top of my stairs and I don't want the gate to be misaligned. Overall, the gate is solid and serves its purpose. I just wish they would ship my gate bought together at the same time.

I love this gate! Good height for toddlers (can't easily climb over), no drilling in the wall (optional), solid construction, self-closing spring, two-way opening, versatility for different widths and a great product in every way.
