White coating for my opinion

It does it's jobs protecting from sunburn but it leaves white coating on your skin, we used other brands that were spf 40 and 50 for kids and they would not leave coating like this one, the key ingredients were the same/similar. I would probably try different brand next time.

Pros
  • Beauty & Personal Care
Cons
  • The sunscreen may rub off easily when swimming or sweating

Is this sunscreen or dried white paint?

First time I used this product I was amazed! It went on a little white but after rubbing it in it dried clear. It was great and felt like I had nothing on. Compared to traditional chemical sunscreen it was great. No greasy feeling, no sunscreen smell, I thought it was a miracle product. I spent two hours in the sun kayaking and then went inside for the day. Later that night I had some pretty bad sunburn on my arms and legs. I will admit, I am fair-skinned and usually need a 50 to survive in…

Pros
  • Hypoallergenic and non-irritating
Cons
  • The spray may be difficult to use on children with curly or thick hair

Light wear and not pasty

This is definitely a much lighter mineral sunscreen that I’ve found, and I’ve tried a few. It says "sheer coverage” but it does not spray on sheer, it’s still white, but it does rub in easily! There’s only a little bit of white residue on your skin unlike other brands I’ve tried that looks like I’ve rubbed white paste all over me. I like the coverage.

Pros
  • Suitable for all skin tones and types
Cons
  • The sunscreen may not be effective in high-altitude or high-UV environments

Best sunscreen I've ever used

I'm very white and usually shy away from direct sun exposure because I'm so self-conscious about getting any kind of sunburn. I wear this sunscreen almost every day at the beach and stay out for hours in the ocean and pool. I'd say it lasts a good 90 minutes before needing to be reapplied. I pushed the limit of the 90 minutes the other day and only BARELY started to get red. This sunscreen has a very natural scent. The sunscreen will leave a slight white haze on your skin but nothing too…

Pros
  • Offers peace of mind knowing it has won numerous awards and professional recognition
Cons
  • The sunscreen may not be suitable for people with a history of skin cancer or other skin conditions

You will NOT get burnt with this sunscreen!

I am working towards reducing chemicals in my household & body. This sunscreen had the lowest rating for toxins on the think dirty app. I bought this for our trip to Florida in March and no one in my family got burnt. I’ve been using it ever since our trip and it is a really solid sunscreen. By far the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. After applying a second coat it can be hard to blend the sunscreen fully into your skin but I believe that is just due to the zinc. And who cares. It does it’s job!

Pros
  • Vegan and cruelty-free
Cons
  • The water-resistant formula may not be eco-friendly or reef-friendly

I am very serious about nontoxic products for my family, particularly for my young children. I also insist on sunscreen almost every day. The unfortunate thing is that I really dislike actually applying sunscreen! lol! I don't mind on normal mornings (and we usually use the Green Screen Organic Sunscreen SPF 32 Original - Vegan - Gluten-free or Babo Botanicals SPF 40 Daily Sheer Facial Sunscreen, Unscented), but when we are on the go or at the beach, I wanted to make it as easy as possible to…

Pros
  • Light and sheer texture for comfortable wear
Cons
  • The spray may have a strong chemical scent that lingers on the skin

Good for sensitive skin

Large bottle and good for sensitive skin. It sprays out really white though and you need to use your hands to actually rub it in. The sun protection on it wasn’t great but then again it’s only spf 30 so if you want good sun protection try a higher spf.

Pros
  • Babo Botanicals, LLC
Cons
  • The sunscreen may be difficult to spray evenly on windy days

Not sheer at all. But easier than lotion.

Goes on white and was fairly easy to rub in the first time. Upon reapplying it wouldn't rub in and stayed white in skin. Be careful as it will stain clothing and leave white marks.

Pros
  • Continuous spray application for easy coverage
Cons
  • The spray may emit a strong, unpleasant odor

The best natural spray sunscreen

I am completely in love with this product! Its ingredients ara completely clean and it really does the job! I went to Brazil for the New Years , was at the beach all day and didn't get sunburn! I went to the water and after some hour I could see the sunscreens still there! It gets your skin a little white for a while , but if if you rub really well you barely can see. I highly recommend this product!

Pros
  • Formulated without synthetic preservatives
Cons
  • The spray may not work well on hair or scalp protection

Goes on sheer, may need to double up

I LOVE that it goes on sheer and uses zinc instead of the other chemicals which are toxic. I did use this before floating down the river (120 minute float) and it was just NOT enough. We all got really sunburned. You could see where the sunscreen was and that healed a lot faster. But I'd just make sure you double layer if you're doing anything for a longer period of time.

Pros
  • Sunscreens
Cons
  • The fragrance-free formula may still have an unpleasant odor
