Easy to use and cute!

I have used these to attach buttons to baby bibs that I have sewn on and they work great with the Babyville awl! My only concern is that one of the buttons was in a bit of a danger of coming loose (these buttons are very tight) when I tried to separate them. but that may be my fault for trying to press them against a rather thick towel. The color combination makes it perfect for use in both boys and girls clothing.

Very useful and works

I am new to this product and enjoy working with snaps. I'm still having trouble getting a nice flat center when using the Babyville Snap Applicator, but the buttons stay in place. I seal all my shopping bags so the contents don't spill out when I drive home from the market. I'm always looking for things to photograph because I really like those kinds of things.

Great Product

I am so happy I bought this item. They appear to be much more secure than four-piece metal fasteners. The insertion tool aligns everything perfectly and even with my weak hands I can still place the pen on the table and apply enough force to make a great seal. I bought the white ones hoping to color them to match my designs. I will keep trying to find the right product that will not chip. In the meantime I simply glued flowers, fabric etc. over the rigging. Again a very useful and easy to use…

Looks cute but hard to open

I bought these buttons along with pliers from Babyville Boutique to make baby clothes for my newborn. Although I really like the color and design of the clasps, they are a little tricky to use. They're so attached that trying to separate them after they've put the outfit together turned out to be quite a challenge. In fact, my husband recently tore one of my jumpsuits while trying to undo the button. I don't find metal snaps any better for homemade clothes, but I do get annoyed with the…

  • So far so good

I make one size cloth diapers and thought this would be a good deal. NO! Don't waste money. From 45 diapers with 3 buttons each, I had 31 buttons that didn't fit properly. The bolts "fall" through on one side and are therefore no longer operable. With five diapers, I counted six (count them 6!?!) times as I took the fastener out and redid it just to make one of them fit correctly!. The B-pillar locks the latch incorrectly many times. For comparison, I used four packs of colored bars, only one…
