After installing it on the back of the TV and following the steps to sync with the app, everything worked. The application was difficult to connect, it almost doesn't work, but it works. A more serious problem is that you can hear the loud hum of these lights when the TV is off and the light is on. I have several different sets of LED strips and only this one is noticeably noisy. I would not recommend them for this reason.

It was easy to install. We have a 55 inch TV so it doesn't surround the entire TV but we still love how it looks! Gives us some light when the lights are off, but it's behind the TV so it doesn't glare. The remote control only works if you point it at the receiver, which is located on the side of the TV. I love all the different colors. Some are lighter than others. Generally satisfied! If you want your TV to be 3D, it should probably be 40-45 inches.

This ad is a joke. The photos do not match what you actually receive. Have you noticed that colors in photos look dynamic depending on what's happening on the screen? Yes NOT a second. You'll get a solid color and some shimmery effects. I would give an F- here and an extra F- for the seller misrepresenting it. The docs in the horribly translated manual say to email them if you have any problems. But even after several emails within a week, there was no answer.

Love the fact that the light bar is powered from the TV's USB port. The only downside I see is that there is not enough power to turn on the lights. as bright as possible. The LEDs are not as bright as advertised. The lights do not cover the back of the TV as advertised. Not even close to what is advertised for a 50-60 inch TV. Don't buy if you have a TV over 40 inches and want to wrap it around the back of the TV. I will not buy again.

EDIT: For those interested as I didn't really see it in anyone's reviews I bought another one and actually CUT it to fit my 23 inch monitor so the Light bar can be cut. To trim, make sure to cut the arrow on the strip and you should be good to go. I've loved it so far, super bright and the color choices are amazing too. Let's see how long the remote control lasts as I have had bad experiences with other LED strips where the remote control stopped working after a while.

To add atmosphere to my desk I bought these strips and attached them to the back of my desk. I'm so glad I took the time to compare all the products to determine which is the best LED strip and this one is without a doubt the best! It sticks well to the wall. Firstly I couldn't pair it with my Android phone like others have said. Without app access, you're forced to use a flimsy remote that limits your color choices. You must be near the TV and point the remote control directly at the device. I can't control it from my couch, another reason app and bluetooth pairing are critical. I could have used an extra pair of hands during installation. It's a very long strip of light and one side is adhesive so installation was quite messy and awkward. Also, the adhesive didn't stick well to the back of my TV in places. Also, the remote control was dead on arrival.
