There is an app on the App Store (iPhone, also for Google but haven't tried it yet) that can be used to adjust brightness and colors instead of using the wired remote. I love this product! I've always wanted one. But eventually I pulled the trigger and got it and I'm very happy with it. Easy installation. You literally just don't have to be afraid and just do it. The installation map is a bit confusing. Half of it is easy, self-explanatory, and the other half is like WHAT!?!? But don't be afraid of it. Clean the TV or the surface you intend to place it on.
