My cool winter coat has a non-detachable hood. Instead of buying a new one, I got this one. That's incredible. Very warm and lasts. Also a great price! I wanted pink but gray was available! For such a great price I get both.

Does not live up to expectations. You cannot tighten the face mask at all. You tighten the hood and the face cover comes off. Strange design to be honest. I have to insert my own lanyard into the face cap for it to work properly. Edit: I added a drawstring around the front and now it's amazing.

Extra wide. I'm a 5'4" female and weigh 130 pounds. From the top of the hood to the bottom where the chin straps are too short. It puts chin straps on my mouth. This is a really good idea and will cover your face instead of a mask cover up if you need it. But you have so much stuff around your neck it's all pushing up. I wish I could find something similar made out of cotton or some other organic material that is more breathable, but I love this hood. Regular hats and caps look weird because I use a chopstick to tuck my long hair away as hair ties don't quite match my hair. This hood covers everything, it's roomy and comfortable. I got this because my head and neck are so cold lately and the scarves are a bit uncomfortable and sweatshirts never seem to fit perfectly, either the hood is too big or heavy for thicker materials or too tacky on jersey of weight shirt .
