Oh these pants were so much better until I washed them! Straight out of the box they were slightly silky and the fleece was so soft. They would be suitable for a business style work environment. After washing, they resembled ordinary knitted trousers with a soft lining. upset.

I have no idea why previous reviews are so critical of these pants. The lining is very light fleece and the outer fabric looks formal enough for work trousers. The fit is perfect and they are very comfortable. I usually wear size 8-10 pants (wide hips) and the plus size fits me. I will wear them all winter!

I ordered these because of the cotton content. However, the amount of spandex makes the fabric look like polyester. The side seams just below the pockets are wrinkled and the fabric is sticking out. The back seam is also wrinkled. I attribute the wrinkling to spandex. I regretted sending them back as I expect them to be warm.

I doubt it. I was hoping for thicker pants with some warmth. Instead they are thin but have a peach trim on the inside which would make them too warm for summer but not the same as a fleece sweatshirt for winter. Not thick enough for work wear - more like yoga pants. I think I was looking for something more like a ponte.

Ordered these on a direct recommendation from a friend who owns 8 pairs. It has no fleece lining. She had no problems with shrinking. I washed them according to the label instructions and hung them to dry. They lost about an inch in length and became narrower. The belt became uncomfortable. Knowing this, I plan to order a size up, wash in warm water and tumble dry. I hope that works, because otherwise I like the pants very much.
