I bought this bracelet for my 82 year old mother. She loves it. I admit I was hoping that some of the folkloric beliefs about ambergris were a bit true, in the sense that it helps with anxiety, pain, migraines, and improves sleep. But even if it doesn't turn out to be that useful, Mom likes the bracelet. Elastic means it's easy to put on and take off. Hope the rubber holds up. Beads are NOT tied together. I always update my reviews when new information seems useful.

It's nice, big real color and the price is fair. I love it and I can see some of the things in each bead with a magnifying glass that look like leaves and debris. To be honest, I've had acute shoulder pain that limits my range of motion for a long time and wearing this bracelet hasn't changed or affected anything. I doubt this is real amber. I am attaching 2 photos. One of the bracelets, an old cognac colored amber ring and a piece of natural golden amber in fluorescent and natural light. Real amber, no matter what color it is, glows in fluorescent light. There wasn't even a fluorescent spot on the bracelet! I haven't tried the salt water test. I was skeptical but wearing this bracelet on my right wrist my right shoulder stopped hurting. It seems to me that succinic acid works in raw amber. The beads are beautiful, carefree, not faceted, but ordinary round ones. I apply them in different shades, but the lighter amber, the more succinic acid, they say.
