Very good product at a very friendly price.

Like. It fits my Brooks B66 very well and has enough space for a spare handset, glasses, keys, essential tools and a phone. It took me a bit of fiddling to figure out the best way to adjust the top straps, but once I've done that it's easy to put on and take off.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Not sure

OK vintage look OK price

I bought this bag because it looks retro enough with my Brooks saddle and vintage bike. It didn't cost much so I wasn't expecting much and I guess based on that I wasn't disappointed. Functionally, it's not that great. Difficult to get stuff out of pocket. I don't trust the clasp. It was kind of a pain to install.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Very expensive

Pray it doesn't rain

Pray it doesn't rain as this bag doesn't cover the opening. Large slits on both sides, a very wide flap, next to it a useless fastener if the bag is not full. Very disappointing and waste of money. I'll try to return/replace it in the hope I just have a faulty unit and if the replacement is better I'll post it.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Hare to get things in and out.

Well done but I don't like the design. The bag is rigid due to the inner dowel and hard plastic liner. Because of this rigidity, the hole is a narrow slit. You can get small items in and out, but larger items (like my 700cX42's camera) won't fit through the opening, although there's plenty of room in the bag.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • disappears

Looks nice. Weak closure design.

Purchased to hang on a Brooks Imperial during the 1970's restoration of Windsor. The bag is just big enough for my needs - good leather bags seem very small at this price point. The bag looks nice, which is important in this case. As others have said, the latch does not inspire confidence and needs to be changed before I can pack my wallet or phone. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm having a hard time tightening the attachment straps. I'll keep the bag, but I'd love to be able to doโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not ideal for every bike, but happy to buy

Running bag is made of hard plastic and has a wooden crossbar for stability. It's very well made, but the combination of the two makes it less flexible to install. It didn't fit either the steering wheel or the seat back. HOWEVER the seller was very willing to return it and did not charge the standard restocking fee after I explained that of course I would keep it if it fitted. Although it didn't work out for me, I have good feelings about the seller and the Banjo Bros product line.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not for everyone

as in the picture) until I read another meaningful review.

I was willing to return this bag because it was saddle mounted (Brooks as pictured) until I read another review that said I had to fasten the buckles inside. Why don't the Banjo brothers, or whoever installed it, include similar instructions with the product? I've included a few photos to show the first step of threading the straps. You'll find out the rest, I'm sure. It could easily have gotten 5 stars were it not for the absurdly inefficient shutter. I love the look and am getting a vintageโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • So far so good

Good pocket for scratches.

When I first installed this bag, I put the buckles on the outside and it was terrible. It sagged and was difficult to open. I then read on Peter White's website that the key to installing airbags is to place the buckles on the inside. Don't you know if you look at the picture here on Revain you'll notice the buckles are in the pocket. I have been riding for many years and never knew it. I changed it and voila the bag works great. It doesn't sag, keeps its shape better, and the fastener is muchโ€ฆ
