I bought it for the price I am very happy with it and it has been working since the purchase. It's built into my irrigation line. We freeze in winter, but I drain it so it doesn't crack. He actually froze a few times and did. so i'm very happy with it

Looks like a well made product. I never saw how well it worked as a filter because the threaded connections were leaking. I've tried various combinations of PVC adapters, tape, liquid sealant - it doesn't stop the flow. Eventually I gave up, removed it from the system and bought another Revain filter with glue in the fittings. It will not leak if it is on the floor and not connected to the pipe.

It looks like a very high quality device ---- but the filter mesh was thinner than I expected (my fault ---- I just didn't realize how fine it is would be grid 80). be)----so i had to return and exchange it, i wanted to use it on my ditch irrigation line and the water there is so dirty that the 80 mesh would be clogged instantly------mesh filter design and the large filter area is superior to anything what I've seen so far.
