Terrible Rotary Dampers for Industrial Applications

The rotary dampers are ineffective. These dampers are a waste of money if you need something that actually works. While the materials used seem strong enough, the dampers do not provide the necessary resistance and tend to fail quickly. They may be alright for home usage, but I would not recommend these for any industrial and scientific application..

Pros
  • The materials used are durable
Cons

Poor description

Not enough information here or on the company website to really know how much force is required to turn the bushing. It actually needs quite a bit of torque, making them unusable for my application. It requires so much torque that you need a perfectly machined square shaft to fit the square hole or you will deform and destroy the plastic. A metal core would be much stronger than a plastic core.

Pros
  • Operating temp: -10 to 50C
Cons
  • Dull packaging
