Banyan Central Hanging Kitchen Towels Review

These towels look completely different from the pictures. Very thin material (not sure if it's cotton). I was washing delicate garments on the delicate/cold cycle and the towels were shrinking and fading. The fabric is so stiff it almost creases like paper. Unless you plan on hanging from a hook, the dimensions are very impractical for wrapping around a regular oven or fridge handle.

After reading the reviews I was very happy with them but now I'm disappointed with my cost. (I've been waiting to improve my hand drying kitchen towels for almost 20 years since I bought really good towels and there are plenty of them and I wasn't sure if the same quality could be found). not a quality item at all. Yes, it folds over the dishwasher and oven handles. Yes, we can wipe our hands on it. But nothing special.

I was looking for kitchen towels that wouldn't fall off the oven door handle. They don't fall off but are also difficult to grab when you need them as they slip through the oven handle. You taste the food quite well. But what I really dislike is that they don't come out of the dryer frizzy and wrinkle free, so I don't recommend them unless you enjoy ironing kitchen towels.

Looked good in ad but terrible after wash. The white hanging part was terribly wrinkled and I couldn't get them out even after repeated ironing. The black towel shed hundreds of tiny fibers - I made a serious mistake wiping my hands with it before putting contact lenses on my eyes. Also, these towels do not absorb moisture well. I would send them back if I didn't wash them. I've totally spent my money since I threw it in the bin.

These towels are great for tossing over tight handles in the kitchen. I prefer them over others because they don't rely on velcro or buttons to stay attached. I mainly use them to dry my hands, but they also work well for drying dishes. They are a little thinner compared to other cotton kitchen towels I have, but I haven't had any problems with them. This is a fantastic idea that was not thought through before the product was made. My god, I can't understand why they use such a thin and poorly absorbent fabric material for towels. Wipe your hands on it once and they'll still be wet the next time. I would happily buy more of this product if the towel's material is changed to terry cloth (which should have been from the start).

I really like the open handles on these towels. I cook every day and constantly dry my hands with whatever towels are available, but I can't leave them on the table because I'm always too busy and it takes up valuable space. The great thing about these things is that you can detach them from the oven handle, not too easily so they don't fall on the floor, but pop open quickly by pulling the top of the loop off the handle when needed.
