I left my Ryobi drill in the rain one night and the drill survived but the battery did not. I had 2 batteries and the others just stopped charging. I took it apart and 6 of the 15 cells were shorted. This was when I ordered a set of 15 cells. On arrival, 10 of them were tested at exactly 1300 volts, while the other five were tested at just +/- 0.002 volts. Very impressive. I received a couple of these 8 packs to restore some old DeWalt 14.4v power tool batteries. 14.4v batteries only have 12 cells so I didn't want to pay for the 15 batteries which is more common with 18v batteries and end up with extra cells that I won't be using. I also like how they are wrapped in thermal insulation paper just like the original parts. These cells are exactly the same size as in DeWalt packs. Cost me about $28 for a 14.4V unit, which is about the same as a brand new fake…
