Long story short it worked, fixed error codes but it's very loud when running so you can hear it. The good thing is that on a cold day it only works for about 2 minutes and you know when it's stopped working when you don't hear anything! Embed bug fix.

Bolted and connected just as expected. Slightly louder than the OEM unit it replaced (to death). In any case, it only runs for 30-45 seconds on a cold start, so the noise isn't a problem for me. Much better than the OEM part in my opinion. Even if it takes twice as long.
