🔧 Bapmic 52105555AA Transfer Case Shifter Control Linkage and 68078974AA Bushing Kit for 2002-2005 Dodge Ram 4x4 Review

This part fits my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT perfectly. I'm glad I have the whole assembly and not just the bushing. The metal rod was badly worn and both rubber bushings were becoming brittle. If you want to do a job, get it right the first time.

I can't believe Dodge will stop at an idea so cheap you have to know it's there if it's going to work. Even a retaining clip so it doesn't fall out and get stuck without the 4x4. Sometimes when you need 4-wheel drive, the last thing you have to do is get under your truck to fix it, or switch to 4-wheel drive with your hand.

I installed this on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. I like that it comes with everything you need to install and it only took about 10 minutes to install from start to finish. What I don't like about it isn't really about this product, it's more about Dodge's design. I think C-clamps with bushings would be much better as you don't lose traction on the road as the bushings wear out.

Not happy with the quality of the sheathing around the set screw, after struggling to get the bushings into place I finally got it done and the last thing I have to do is tighten the set screw and after a couple of careful wrench turns the case around the screw cracked, and now the integrity of the regulator is broken. Bought to replace a lever on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 HD. I drove 2WD so I adapted it myself to reproduce the transfer case lever and it seems to work perfectly. Be patient when installing the bushings and watch a few YouTube videos showing how to do it or you'll spend twice as much time. Took me about 10 minutes to install and tighten. I saved a lot of money by driving to my local dealer to order it.
