Barefoot Slacklines Including Protectors Instructions Review

Have been riding a Gibbon slackline for a few years and love it! So when I left it out in the rain for too long and needed replacing, I went online and found the Barefoot Slackline. I love that it comes with a training rope and storage bag. It also has slightly wider trees. The gibbon cord was just cord and I had to buy the bandages separately. Overall it was a lot cheaper and works exactly the same. Excellent purchase!

The slackline itself is great. Kids love it (and adults too)! 15m is a great length and gives you plenty of freedom of movement on the leash. This also works well for shorter distances. However, we had a problem with the training line. The ratchet broke after a few uses. It's been a few days since Amazon's return window so I now need to contact the company to see if there's anything they can do for me.

This slackline was perfect for our friends at the picnic. We have a few people who came and everyone enjoyed it. The line is VERY STRONG and VERY STRONG and looks amazing! The assembly was very easy even for a slackline beginner. Our slackliner really liked it and said it was quite stretchy. The only thing I found room for improvement was that the tree protectors were too short for the trees we were using and the ratchet was a little binding when trying to release. I got this for myself for my 24th birthday after seeing a girl do some cool somersaults on one of these at the beach. We have several different slacklines and so far everyone loves them. Lettering at the top provides extra support and installation is quick and easy. Tree Guards are much stronger and longer than Gibbons brand Tree Guards. We don't use the training sling included in the kit as it's like training wheels on a bike - it prevents a beginner from learning to slackline, but for those who wish it's a nice bonus.
