Our dog doesn't bark too much unless we let him along. There's a colony of squirrels living between us and the neighboring trees in the backyard, and he kept barking at them. I can't say much about the product. The shock was a bit big for my little fella so we turned it off after the first time but the collar still worked without it. About a minute before it stopped working. The description says it's water resistant to 1 meter, our dog stepped on a bah step (the collar was about 1 inch deep) and stopped working.
