🔭 Waterproof Barska Blackhawk Binoculars Review

I've had several binoculars for different purposes over the last few years, but they have too much plastic to even use sparingly. Worked well for a while then showed signs of worn exterior plastic. Save money and buy the best pair.

The prisms are bright and vibrant, but they have some imperfections where the colors don't match perfectly, so there's a red-green-blue aura around the edges of the objects. Body construction was solid except that one of the adjustable eyepieces broke and fell off after a few adjustments.

Bright and clear image, exceptionally wide field of view. Comfortable to hold and strong body, perfect and stable alignment over time (I've had it for about half a year). Excellent value for money, these are the best binoculars I have seen for the price or less. Barska binoculars appear to be of better quality and more economical than many other leading brands including Bushnell.

I am very impressed with this. They are heavy and durable. It took quite a bit of tweaking to see through clearly right out of the box. Great binoculars. I've used more expensive ones than these and I can tell you this pair is as good as any. It's pleasant to use, easy to set up and operate, and comes with a convenient carrying case and strap for the body and binoculars, and a lens cleaning cloth that slips into the binoculars mesh pocket. They are larger than they appear in the picture. It would be helpful to find the size specifications listed and measure them to represent them. I find they are a good size that will be quite useful for most applications. I plan to take them mainly on hikes to see the countryside, bird watch and do some sports to stop nosebleeds. I bought these 10x42 roof prisms to work on the car. The pivoting retractable eyecups are perfect. The exit pupil is quite large and without my glasses the field of view is excellent. When I have the goggles and cups folded down, I find it a bit difficult to keep them exactly where the bifocals work, but once I find that spot there is no problem.
