Nothing for experts or perfectionists!

I find it very light, certainly excellent quality. to another place, for example if you are using binoculars and you want to move them just a few millimeters in any direction, it will not move those millimeters, it will move more and it will be difficult to get it back to the ideal place . .

Pros
  • Maximum height 63.4" and minimum height 26.6"
Cons
  • Useless functions

Unfortunately not usable: Telescope and microscope accessories

Will be returning my second one. Very thin. The first broke off the handle (made of molded plastic). This second one has something dangling inside the crank mechanism housing, which causes the mount to be raised and lowered. The result is wobble that renders a tripod with a bird scope unusable in all conditions. Essentially, the scope moves when I let go of the stick and shakes when I hold the stick. Save for a more expensive tripod.

Pros
  • Minimum height: 26.6 inches. Max height: 63.4 inches
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good value for money

I bought a tripod to use with the Barska spotting scope. It was used and I bought it at a reduced price. It arrived in pretty good condition. I am happy with my purchase. It is durable and lightweight and comes with a soft carry case. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that if for some reason I take a tripod while looking at an object at high magnification, the vibrations can be perceived as tremors. Obviously it's not as durable as a survey tripod, but I didn't pay that price. Goodโ€ฆ

I have a feeling this is a great product. I used a tripod for mounting.

I think this is a great product for the price. I used a tripod to mount Nikon adjustable binoculars and was very happy with this utility. The height is high enough for the binoculars to be at eye level so I don't have to lean too far. Adjusting the legs is easy and works well enough to easily level the tripod on uneven surfaces. The pan and tilt controls are a little finicky and you know it's not high-end, but considering the price I think they're quite acceptable.

  • Ideal for most high zoom binoculars and spotting scopes

Suitable for very light/everyday use

I have this Barska brand and the Revain Basics brand. I use this Barska tripod primarily for moon rising binocular use etc with Nikon Aculon and Bushnell Powerview 20x50 zoom binoculars. Both binoculars are quite light and perform well on this tripod. Haven't added a weight to the bottom yet but I think it will help as they can be very wobbly even with light binoculars. This bark sold for around $20 and is totally worth it. I also bought a Barska binocular adapter and it seems to work fine.

Pros
  • Retractable feet with rubber feet
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good value for money but a stronger mounting plate could have been used.

Pretty solid tripod for the money. It would have gotten 5 stars if the detachable mount was a bit stronger. An injection molded part can have a more solid appearance. Our first use was to mount a spotting scope and camera on a tripod, the mount broke off a bit. Granted, the 15-kilo load of these two is well under the stated weight limit, but the center of gravity isn't over the set screw when the two elements are connected. Overall we like it and understand that we need to be extra careful when

Good value for money

Really good tripod for the money. Lots of adjustment factors, solid construction that isn't too heavy for quick and easy movements. I have a fairly heavy scope with a long lens (for birds and scenery, from my home in the mountains), so sometimes I have to adjust the vertical axis quite aggressively to get and maintain a certain field of view. but for what i spent i am very satisfied. I also have a house full of bulldogs, who are *NOT* the most graceful animals on the planet - they tend toโ€ฆ

The tripod I used before was good but not as stable as this one.

I got this tripod to carry heavy astronomical binoculars. The tripod I used before was good but not as stable as this one. The tripod adapter fits perfectly, as do the binoculars. I tried this whole setup and was amazed by the results. I like that I can now track objects much more easily with this tripod. I like the solid construction. It is very easy for me to use this tripod and as I said, the device is very stable when the binoculars are mounted on a tripod with an adapter. The only reason I

Ideal for spotting scopes and bird watching.

This tripod is exactly what I was looking for. I use the Orion spotting scope for bird watching and target shooting. I used an old Targus TGT-58TR tripod that we got from an old camcorder, but the Targus couldn't stably hold the heavy spotting scope due to the design of the head (see image) between the mount and the body of the head. which, although it held up, our little camcorder wouldn't have been able to carry a heavier spotting scope without a lot of wobbling and wiggling.
