I was looking for a gray coaster to match napkins and chairs. Most of the ones I found were 100% flat and still had moisture pooling at the bottom of the cup and dripping when the cup was lifted. They are waffle-shaped to prevent moisture from getting onto the glass. They seem very durable and easy to wash and clean. I am very happy with the purchase.

These may not be the only silicone coasters on the market and they may be a bit more expensive than some, but they work! The coaster "doesn't stick to the glass" - so often the coasters float up with the glass and then fall with a crash to the ground. These stay in place. And they stay in place no matter where you place them on your desk (or whatever) - they won't slip. In general, they are unobtrusive, useful, and work.
