Do not buy - their small database makes the results extremely inaccurate

This item has been found to be very unusable. Our cat is white-orange without a tail, in the kit we were told that he was Russian-blue (a gray-blue tail with a tail and a completely different character and physique). It was quite clear that the information was grossly inaccurate. We got in touch to make sure there was no confusion or error and received a lengthy email basically telling us that the database is too small to be precise at the moment. I bought this set because I have that 40lb long haired green eyed cat that everyone is asking me about. "Is she a Maine Coon?" "Is she part Maine Coon?" I had no idea of her background as I fought her on the street and had no idea who her parents were. I did DNA testing for my dogs and was very happy that there are now tests for cats. It was very easy to get a sample. I'm sure everyone on the internet has seen a table where you can give a cat a pill. Nothing like that. He seemed to really enjoy the collecting process. I'm still glad I did it but confused now.

My cute 2 year old kitten suddenly started crying a lot and I was wondering if it was because of his breed or if I should be concerned about his mental health. Breed reports need to be improved.

So I have this set of feline DNA; because Basepaws finally added health markers this year. The health reports were straightforward and mostly easy to understand. Breeding reports were vague; and I had to watch several videos and found it difficult to find the new basepaws help article. As far as I know, Basepaws currently believes my cat is 39.5% western DNA; and shares DNA with all 7 races in this group.
