This is the only product I can use for a 'down there' clean that doesn't aggravate my urinary tract even if I have IC. I use a separate shower gel for the rest of my body because I need something moisturizing.

Gentle, ideal for sensitive skin. I have a bar by the sink and one in the shower and it's great for the face and body! Almost no trace of fragrance for those who want an unscented scent (ideally I prefer a mild scent, that's the only thing I lack, but the need for a sensitive cleansing versus scent)

Good if your skin is fine. But I had something that was causing a red spot under my nose and had to wash it out with regular soap and then pat dry with a tissue instead of a towel. Basis Sensitive Skin had a very strong odor and only made the red spot worse. So I had to drop the bar and start using Purpose soap, which has no scent at all. I cleaned the area, moistened it with petroleum jelly on a cotton swab and it improved. I still do it but the area is much better.

About 45 years ago a dermatologist recommended I use a base soap for my sensitive skin. I have tried other soaps over the years but base is the best. I'm glad my doctor told me about it at the time, otherwise I would never have tried it.
