Basting Tape Double Faced Yard Crafting Review

Just the right amount of adhesive power to help hold the layers together as I sew my ruffles together. Good tape for a good price.

I glued my needle together and totally ruined my project! I can't delete it! Beware of the worst! I bought this to ensure perfect lines on an expensive fabric, it's awful...too tacky!

Excellent binding tape, holds up well but also comes loose for the inevitable touch ups. Feed the fabric through the machine.

Ribbon works fine but smells awful. It doesn't look moldy, but it smells like it's been stored in a deep, dark basement full of mushrooms. I packed it four times and put it in another room. The smell seems to stay with the paper and not the glue so I can still use it.

Tried it for the first time and very disappointed. The product is sticking the sewing machine needle which I need to replace to continue. The product sticks to the inside of the fabric but does NOT stick when I fold the fabric to hem. Attempts were made to the outer fabric. I watched a video on the company's website and the product was said to be made for exactly what I was trying to do. Too late to return so wasted $35.

I've tried different options on Amazon and local stores. is what you want Strong adhesion even on dirty materials. Now repurchased and decided to give a review. My only complaint is that the backing doesn't stretch at all, so the standard hard tear technique doesn't leave a crumpled end to peel off. This is a minor problem as you can just scrape it off with your fingernail.
